![]() This changed about 2 weeks after I gave this reply so now all the hand gestures can also be done by people who use desktop mode. They are ordered from 1-8 in top-left being 1 and bottom-right being 8. ![]() The animations themselves don't have any hotkeys and can be found under Esc -> Emotes. I just want to be sure that I won't spend the hours making these emote animations by hand only to realize that I'm not even able to use them because I don't have a VR set. I know this is like the millionth post on the topic of custom emotes, but I'm not asking for a how-to. If I animated a short sequence, could I use that as an emote in-game with just a mouse and keyboard? If so, which slots do I need to assign it to in the animation override component in Unity, and how would I activate it in-game? So, I guess what I'm asking for is clarification on this. I'd assume the developers would have added functionality to override emotes from that menu, or, even better, add more emotes of your own to that menu. This doesn't make sense to me, as there's a perfectly fine emote selector menu accessible in-game via the Escape menu that works without a hitch. I've been doing research on the topic and it seems like some sources are saying that emotes cannot be done unless you have the full VR gear, and it's done using certain gestures. I've been rigging and animating my own Zero avatar for a while now, and I'd like to add some emotes to spice things up a bit and bring my character to life.
